At Alaala Design, we strive to offer a seamless and reliable shopping experience. Below are the details of our shipping policies for orders within Canada and the UK.


1. Shipping Locations

We currently ship to addresses in:

  • Canada
  • United Kingdom (UK)

If you are located outside of these regions, please contact us at enquiry@alaaladesign.com to inquire about international shipping options.

2. Processing Times

  • Processing Time: All orders are processed within 4-8 Weeks. Custom or bespoke engagement rings may require additional time for production. Estimated production timelines will be communicated during the consultation process.
  • Business Days: Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
  • Custom Orders: For custom jewellery, the production timeline will vary based on design complexity. Please allow 6-8 weeks for bespoke engagement rings.

3. Shipping Rates

Canada:

  • Standard Shipping: Free for orders over $200 CAD. A flat rate of $25 CAD applies to orders under $200 CAD.
  • Express Shipping: Available for an additional fee of $25 CAD.
  • Estimated Delivery Time: 3-7 business days for standard shipping, 1-3 business days for express shipping.

United Kingdom (UK):

  • Standard Shipping: Free for orders over £150. A flat rate of £15 applies to orders under £150.
  • Express Shipping: Available for an additional fee of £25.
  • Estimated Delivery Time: 5-10 business days for standard shipping, 2-4 business days for express shipping.

4. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can monitor the progress of your delivery.

5. Shipping Times

Shipping times may vary depending on your location and external factors such as customs delays or courier disruptions. Please note that estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Any delays caused by the shipping carrier are beyond our control.

6. Duties and Taxes

Canada:

  • Orders shipped within Canada are subject to the applicable provincial sales tax and GST/HST, calculated at checkout.

United Kingdom:

  • Orders shipped to the UK may be subject to customs duties, VAT, and import fees, which are the responsibility of the customer. These fees are determined by local authorities and are not included in your total at checkout.

7. Lost or Delayed Shipments

If your order is lost or significantly delayed in transit, please contact us at enquiry@alaaladesign.com. We will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue. However, once an item has been marked as delivered by the carrier, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

8. Shipping Address

Please ensure that your shipping address is correct at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

9. Shipping Restrictions

We do not ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses at this time. For security reasons, all shipments containing high-value items such as engagement rings require a signature upon delivery.
